For football fields, baseball, soccer we recommend the half inch thick rubber padding, specifically designed for outdoor and / or indoor sports fields.
3. Will rubber padding make the turf too soft or bouncy?

No, if properly chosen: Low-density foam pads = bouncy (avoid for sports) High-density rubber = firm, stable, natural feel Choose 25–35 lb/ft³ density for best balance of cushion and stability.
4. Does rubber padding help with drainage?
